Originally designed for Sydney’s streetscape upgrade ahead of the 2000 Olympics, it consolidates lighting, communications, and signage into a single, streamlined system. Its modular aluminium extrusion allows accessories to be mounted cleanly and adapted as technology evolves, while reducing the visual clutter of traditional street hardware. Awarded for its design innovation, the Smart.Pole set a new global standard for how cities integrate essential services into the public realm, and it continues to be produced today by HUB Group.
